“Discovering Old Favorites with Audio Descriptions”? This will give the recipient a clear idea of what the email is about, and hopefully pique their interest in learning more about your experience.

I wanted to share that I’ve been on a bit of a nostalgia trip lately, watching some of my favorite old movies. However, this time around I get the chance to watch them with audio descriptions. It’s been a fascinating experience, as I’m able to pick up on details and nuances that I might have missed before. It’s amazing how much more immersive a movie can feel when you have access to that additional layer of information!

Have you ever tried watching movies with audio descriptions? If not, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a great way to experience old favorites in a new and exciting way.

stenomask and Vocal Eye description

A Vocal Eye performer attends a show 2 or 3 times to write detailed notes while watching the performance, before doing a live description. During a live description, the performer wears a stenomask. A stenomask is used by court stenographers. A stenomask covers a person mouth while they describe, so to not disturb other patrons. As they speak into it, only the Vocal Eye patron can hear the performers live description through the ear piece.

The Fraser Valley Regional District has issued an evacuation order for parts of Laidlaw in Electoral area, residents are asked to leave the area immediately.

Langley BC fire

Township firefighter at the fire that destroyed a Brookswood barn early Monday Sept 12rd an early morning fire has destroyed one barn and damaged another in the 21000 block of 40th Ave in Langley’s Brookswood area.

Township assistant fire chief Andy Hewitson said firefighters were called to the seen arroun 5:30a.m. Monday Sept 12rd and arrived to find a 50 by 250 sq ft barn heavily involved and a 2nd near by barn the same size was beginning to catch on fire.

6 fire vehicles set up a defensive attack and closed the road, Hewitson said it appeared no animals were in the barns and there were no reported injuries. a neighbour Charlene Ellis said the fire started at the north end of the destroyed barn and burned it’s way south

Battleship Mountain wildfire

The Battleship Mountain is one of several fires blazing out of control in B.C.

The fire has now grown to over 17,000 hectares driven by wind and extremely dry conditions.

Over the last 48 hours the Battleship Mountain has displayed extremely aggressive fire behaviour and is more then 17,410 hectares in size, said a BC Wildfire Service

Chinatown fire+ this year fires

firefighters were called and several explosions had been reported in the 200 block of Keefer ST.

We don’t know what exploded, said vancouver fire rescue service Acting assistant chief Dan Nichols.

When crews got on seen obviously, the exsplosion was done.

Vancouverv fire chief Karen Fry said in her own post that crews were battling a second-alarm blaze and hitting it hard in hopes of preventing it from spreading.

Nichols said the fire began on the roof of the building and spread into void spazes between the roof and the top flor ceiling.

Crews could be seen on the roof working to put out hotspots early in the afternoon.

The ground flor of Heritage building at 218 Keefer St. is home to gane Wa restaurant, and there are single rooms occupancy residences on the uper floors, according to Nichols he said everyone inside the building when the fire broke out had evacuated.

Richmond Fire

ON Wednesday Aug 24th around 4:30, Mom and I strongly smelled smoke and Mom saw smoke outside, both front and back of our place.

Well I was smart and check my news app and they said someone called into city news, saying there was a fire near the knight street bridge.

well the next day I google to see if there was any more information and there was. It happened at Richmond recycling yard, sent smok over metro vancouver.
